We're looking for an Account Manager to join our team in Hong Kong as part of our Sales function.

We're looking for a highly motivated Account Manager to join our WGSN sales team in Hong Kong. This role reports into the Head of Account Management, APAC, and is tasked to manage and support the growth of WGSN’s clients within the APAC region. The role will identify business opportunities, build key client relationships, negotiate and close business deals and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions. The Account Manager will use a consultative sales style to create, implement and manage a strategy to help achieve customer growth.

This opportunity is ideal for an individual who has demonstrated success within previous client facing positions. Experience within the research / consultancy space is a plus, as is experience in the SaaS space. We offer extensive training and clear career progression for successful Individuals.

You will be focused on a variety of industries such as apparel, beauty, food & drink, consumer technology and education. You will be interacting with small to medium size companies. This role will involve managing the sales process for closing mid-size customer opportunities while achieving individual targets and KPI's.


Key Responsibilities

  • Successfully achieve and exceed specified targets and performance objectives
  • Deliver excellent customer service and maximise additional revenue opportunities
  • Deeply knowledgeable about local & regional markets, customers, competitors and products in order to sell creative solutions and deliver exceptional customer value
  • Develop initiatives that build long term strategic relationships and results
  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline through effective relationship building, meetings, call management and lead generation
  • Ensure accurate use and maintenance of the CRM system - Salesforce
  • Sales administration responsibilities - including robust sales and account plans
  • Work in collaboration with internal teams e.g. Marketing, Content and Operations, ensuring all activities are considered from a customer's viewpoint
  • Continually seek ways of improving ways to build customer relationships, deliver value & promote growth
