Role overview 

This role will support and drive a wide range of initiatives contributing to commercial excellence from start to finish; from planning to execution to implementation and tracking. The role provides an exciting opportunity to interact with a wide set of stakeholders and truly have an impact by driving commercial best practice and supporting strategic initiatives to achieve our growth objectives. 


The team

This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a fairly new team with a wide remit, the WGSN Sales Enablement team. Forming part of the WGSN commercial strategy team, this role supports the global sales teams through a wide range of initiatives all contributing to commercial success.  


Key accountabilities

  • Support in coordinating, leading and implementing a range of strategic projects and initiatives contributing to commercial excellence, including;

    • Evaluating and updating sales training plans

    • Analysing and improving customer journeys

  • Ensuring sales teams are equipped with best-in-class assets and collateral, working together with other functions including product marketing to develop and refine these materials 

  • Support in driving commercial best practice and continuously improving WGSN sales processes

  • Maintain and develop the WGSN internal sales resource hub

  • Support on a wide range of initiatives run by the Sales Enablement team and with the wider commercial strategy team, including analysing analysing customer data and business performance

  • Build key relationships with different parts of the organisation to ensure understanding of business needs

Skills, experience & qualifications required

  • BA/BS in business or analytics related field or equivalent experience preferred but not essential   

  • Previous experience in Sales, Marketing or Business Operations preferred

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to consistently meet established goals while balancing competing priorities / timelines

  • Highly detailed organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills required, with critical attention to detail and excellent follow-through

  • Self-starter with ability to juggle multiple initiatives

  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills 

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments and geographically distributed teams in highly collaborative environments

  • Aptitude for Microsoft Office/Google Suite, particularly Excel/Sheets

  • Ability to learn Salesforce and other supporting dashboarding tools (e.g. Looker)
