We're looking for a Commercial Marketing Lead to join our team in London as part of our Marketing function.

Your team:  You will work closely with the Head of Advisory, and play a key role in the achievement of campaign marketing objectives: 

Your Role:  You will be an experienced marketing manager who will support the global growth of our Advisory offering. Mainly focused on sponsored content and other Advisory initiatives (WARC Academy, Ask WARC and bespoke Advisory projects) you will lead all strategic and tactical Advisory marketing activity, and have complete ownership and own delivery of sponsored content marketing plans, designed to deliver revenue and engagement KPIs. 

Your role will also encompass activating sponsored content on social media, as well as supporting the activation of our hero brand campaigns at a global level and coordinating the localisation with the regions.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop and deliver the annual marketing strategy, content calendar, and campaign materials to ensure understanding  of the Advisory offer and drive commercial opportunities. 
  • Lead the marketing planning and delivery of the Advisory product portfolio. This includes growing the awareness of Advisory amongst existing customers, attracting new customers and driving community engagement.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand customer needs to generate high-quality and impactful marketing materials, and continuously measure and improve the impact of campaign materials.
  • Responsible for setting KPIs at the beginning of a campaign and ongoing campaign tracking and reporting. 
  • Manage client expectations in conjunction with the Commercial and Advisory team, setting clear reporting pathways and managing reports after campaigns to strict deadlines.
  • Create and deliver sales collateral to enable sales teams to upsell Advisory. Work with the Head of Product Marketing in rolling out sales training programmes across the portfolio of Advisory products and ensure these are kept up to date.
  • Manage multiple priorities and account manage customer expectations, driving sponsored content campaigns with clear project plans and regular communication.
  • Build relationships and secure industry presence of our Advisory experts to raise the profile of WARC and Advisory in our target markets and key industries.
  • Ensure balance between brand, product and commercial needs for all campaigns.
  • Support brand hero campaigns through activation and coordinating localisation, where appropriate.

Your Experience

  • Experience in a B2B or sponsorship marketing role is essential, ideally with relevant qualifications. 
  • Attention to detail with the ability to efficiently prioritise and execute multiple concurrent projects with quality.
  • Solution oriented mindset that thrives in ambiguity and figuring out solutions and processes to complex problems.
  • Confident, tenacious relationship builder and problem solver.
  • Demonstrate brand passion, business acumen, commercial awareness, with the ability to build excellent stakeholder relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Insight driven, making decisions rooted in customer benefit, strategic fit and commercial understanding.
  • Team player with a genuine desire to contribute to the overall success of the entire team in addition to strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate internally with colleagues and externally with clients.
