We're looking for a Fashion Feed and Catwalk Senior Strategist to join our team in the UK as part of our Content function.

Your Role: You will be sitting in a central role in the fashion content team, you are confident and comfortable collaborating with a large global team to lead the emerging trends conversation across the fashion business. You will also create, commission, edit and schedule feed post content and write key catwalk reports. You will be able to work with WGSN’s product category experts across womenswear, menswear, denim, kidswear, footwear & accessories and track trend evolution, mapping it back where appropriate, to WGSN’s wider macro forecasts.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Creating, editing, scheduling and publishing emerging trend content daily across fashion categories

  • Leading WGSN’s catwalk trend coverage (Womenswear & Menswear)

  • Creating WGSN’s catwalk analytic reports, coordinating and liaising with the data analytics team to contextualise catwalk coverage for WGSN clients

  • Creating and monitoring the shifts in regional and global fashion trends ensuring these are commercially viable for WGSN’s broad client base

  • Writing and editing succinct feed post copy

  • Planning and scheduling Feed posting across a large editorial and subbing team

  • Where appropriate producing content marketing across social media, and video platforms of trends or key events

  • Presenting and contextualising emerging Feed trends to clients across multiple categories

  • Presenting trend evolution to WGSN Enterprise fashion clients at a senior level 

Your Experience

  • Excellent organisation, communication and collaboration skills, you will be someone who thrives at multitasking and has the ability to work with an international team to ensure that strategy & content output is of a consistently high standard

  • You will be curious, decisive, dynamic, flexible and used to working at pace

  • Ability to build strong working relationships with key stakeholders in the business from within content, sales and marketing while working autonomously

  • Excellent presentation skills with proven experience of presenting to external clients, internal stakeholders, and at industry events

  • Expert trend spotter with finger on the pulse of fashion brands and product narratives across social media you will have career experience in the Fashion industry and an in depth fashion trend knowledge

  • Multi-category awareness across mens, womens, youth, kids, footwear and accessories

  • Experience of qualitative and quantitative research methods to analyse catwalk tags and data

  • Excellent at all forms of collaboration & communication including experience of external virtual presentations, video presentation and speaking at live events
