We're looking for a Head of Event Operations to join our team in New York as part of our Money20/20 function.

Key Responsibilities

  • To effectively understand and communicate the operational strategy for the Money20/20 show to the event operations team
  • Manage the event operations team to ensure efficient and creative delivery of the Money20/20 shows
  • To ensure health & safety standards are established and maintained across the Money20/20 shows
  • Point of escalation for the relationship between the event operations team and internal departments such as, but not limited to, VP of events, procurement, finance and design
  • Ensure operational processes, such as show cycle timelines, briefing documents, operations planning documents, and budget trackers, are in place and consistent across Money20/20 shows
  • Point of escalation for suppliers across Money20/20 shows
  • Support on operational aspects of the shows to ensure successful delivery of the shows, where necessary
  • Point of escalation for event operations team across Money20/20 shows for onsite execution and vendor management

 

Your Experience

  • Proven large-scale international event experience, essential
  • Health & Safety training including IOSH qualification, preferable
  • Strong planning, prioritisation and implementation skills
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically
  • Negotiation and financial management skills
  • Ability to work in a high-performing, fast paced environment
  • Manages stakeholders and team with confidence and empathy
  • Good communications skills and great customer service

 

Special requirements

  • As this role supports across shows across the different time zones, alternative work hours will be required, as necessary
  • This role is essential to the onsite delivery so it is necessary that the successful applicant is able to travel, including but not limited to The Netherlands and United Kingdom
