We're looking for a Senior Insight Manager to join our team in London as part of our Content function.

As part of our Insights Team, you will be responsible for ensuring that Edge by Ascential customers are deriving maximum value from their subscription. This role is responsible for the servicing of a portfolio of Consumer and Professional manufacturer clients across EMEA. 

The Insight Manager will act as a key point of contact for the client, and will be responsible for delivering on our core insights missions: 

Drive & Engage: Support clients with the delivery of relevant, actionable, performance enhancing insights, leveraging their subscribed solutions and in line with their objectives 

Champion: Enabling your clients to win, by placing eCom best practice and expertise  at the heart of your work and engagements 

Collaborate: With stakeholders externally and internally, to deliver a consistent and aligned insights experience for your clients 

Goals

  • Ensure customer satisfaction, leading to renewal and expansion 

  • Deliver and capture tangible ''value generation'' as part of the customer satisfaction plan

  • Identify opportunities for expansion and proactively work with sales function 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Define and deliver the client insight support plan, placing value at the heart of everything you do

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients stakeholders from an insights perspective  eg eCom Managers, Market SPOCs, Global SPOCs, Account Managers, eContent Managers  

  • Promote & deliver a professional service including in-depth analysis and recommendations of a high standard -  both in the content and delivery 

  • Coordinate and collaborate internally and externally  to ensure consistency of approach across markets

  • Monitor customer satisfaction; work with account managers, program managers, and line manager to proactively identify and address customer questions and issues 

  • Be the voice of the customer in relation to other Edge functions (Product management,

  • Operations, Customer support, Sales, and Management)

Your Experience

  • eCommerce experience in the Consumer and Professional Goods manufacturer or retail

  • sectors (3+ years)

  • Experience in category management, shopper marketing or trade marketing with

  • renowned e-retailers - FMCG highly desirable

  • Understanding of eCommerce performance elements/dynamics/fundamentals – i.e. SEO, Taxonomy, Enhanced content

  • Strong understanding of Amazon platform and ideally experience having worked with the Amazon account on eCommerce optimization 

  • Demonstrable experience and understanding of Manufacturer/Retailer eCommerce

  • relationship

  • Must have  experience in Quantitative Research, ideally within brand 

  • A plus to have full-service experience, Project Management as well as Insight. 

  • Exceptional communicator (written and verbally) and must have proven client management experience 

  • Proven in developing and landing actionable insights for the client’s organisation 

  • Data analysis, from manipulation, to design and delivery

  • Tangible experience on looking at data, and identifying patterns that can give actionable business decisions to clients

  • Excel is a must and any other analytics tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI) are desirable 

  • Great communication skills are key - being clear, confident, persuasive and empathetic – with clients and colleagues

  • You will be expected to contribute to our collaborative culture, with a can-do attitude and a positive approach to your work

  • Statistics background would be a plus

  • This role reports to our Head of Insights.
