We're looking for a Data Journalist, WARC Digital Commerce to join our team in London as part of our Content function.
Your Role: You will be equally confident working with data as they are telling compelling stories with sharp, analytical commentary. WARC Digital Commerce provides high-value, data-driven editorial content for subscribers seeking the latest trends in e-commerce and retail media
Key Responsibilities
- Work alongside the Head of Content and Reports Editor in creating an editorial programme for WARC Digital Commerce.
- Write regular data point articles each week, featuring data visualisation and commentary.
- Identify current and emerging industry trends, and find a way to communicate those trends through data-led content.
- Contribute to the development of category and platform-specific reports for subscribers.
- Collaborate with external partners and industry experts on content projects.
- A team player, you will work across geographies, cultures and time zones and enjoy working with multiple departments, including data, design, production and marketing teams.
- Develop a network of industry contacts for the sourcing of relevant data and analysis.
- Support the WARC Advisory team with commerce-specific projects.
- You are an advocate and ally for diversity, equity and inclusion
Your Experience
- Some experience producing data-driven content, preferably (but not essential) with a focus on the e-commerce or advertising industries.
- A data professional fascinated by the advertising sector, and what it means to businesses and consumers.
- Comfortable with large data sets and consider yourself an expert in pulling insight / trends out of data.
- Excellent copywriting skills and numeracy are essential.
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and HTML preference.
- Superb organisational abilities and strong communication skills
