We're looking for a Senior Events Executive - Global to join our team in London as part of our Operations function.
Travel: The role will require travel (up to 30%) to Money20/20 events, the role is essential to the onsite delivery so it is necessary that you must be able and willing to travel globally.
Working Hours: As this role supports shows across the different time zones, alternative work hours will be required, as necessary.
Your team: You will sit within the Ascential Operations Team, who manage the efficient and creative delivery of all event operations.
Your Role: You will be managing the efficient and creative delivery of all event operations of community building events for Money20/20, focusing on but not limited to, The World Tours. Your role will be a core role both in the lead up to and during the onsite delivery of the events.
Key Responsibilities
- Take on the full operational delivery of the event; working with the Head of Global Insights and Networks to devise and manage an operational plan to cover full process from concept to planning and then delivery
- Lead all operational event elements including: event concepting, venue research & management, on-site branding and A/V management, food and beverage menu selection, develop lead-up and on-site staffing plans, attendee registration and badging, post-event recaps including KPIs/ metrics
- Collaborate and communicate with cross functional teams to ensure brand alignment and successful outcomes i.e. creative design, social, brand marketing, brand strategy, content programming, production management, legal, press etc.
- Develop accurate budget forecasts and control the operational budget in partnership with the head of content operations and the finance team
- Provide operational advice and assistance to the sales, content and marketing teams working with them to ensure their onsite requirements are flawlessly delivered
- Maintain industry knowledge and stay current on industry trends, providing innovative ideas and creative event solutions
Your Experience
- You must have experience in sourcing event venues, in addition event experience and event registration platforms experience would be an advantage.
- Strong planning, prioritisation and implementation skills with an excellent focus on detail
- Able to think creatively to and come up with bespoke ideas
- Ability to work autonomously in a high-performing, fast paced environment
- Self-motivated, accountable and sets own goals
- Good communications skills
- Proactive, patient, quick thinking and calm under pressure
- Experience with Marketo would be preferred
