Salary Range: $190,000 - $210,000
We're looking for a VP Sales to join our team in New York as part of our Sales Function.
Your Role: You will actively manage and oversee a team of revenue producers for Money20/20 US to attain revenue and strategic goals. Collaborate with marketing, content, creative, ops teams to ensure best in class delivery and experience for sponsors and exhibitors at our annual Money20/20 show in Las Vegas.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage sales team and processes for Money20/20 US and achieve strategic and revenue goals. (New Business and Retention teams)
- Understand existing processes/make recommendations to improve for leads, pipeline management, territories, floorplan management, proposal preparation, exhibitor collections, comp plans
- Ensure accurate forecasting and pipeline management through use of Salesforce by direct reports
- Conduct weekly 1:1 meetings with direct reports ensuring balanced pipelines, on pace to hit activity (Personal Success Formula- PSFs) and revenue targets.
- Provide training and coaching to sales team and make joint customer calls to include understanding customer goals, proposal preparation to meet required goals, objection handling
- Collaborate with finance, content, creative, marketing, operations to ensure excellent cross communication
- Product, pricing and contracts: ensure accuracy of products and pricing in price books, and deliverables in contracts
- Manage rebook process
- You are a connector, working hard to ensure people and projects are not inadvertently siloed or silenced
Your Experience
- Strong experience related to working on events with at least 400 exhibitors and some experience managing team of at least five individuals with $10 million in revenue
- Highly proficient in managing pipelines, forecasting, customer communication
- Track record of hitting (preferably exceeding) goals and demonstrable tactical drive
- Experience working with strategic accounts, writing and presenting proposals and selling high value sponsorships
- Problem solver and team builder
- Excellent project management skills
- Works well in collaborative environment
